Students at the The Potteries campus will be engaging in a week long artist’s residency at The Potteries Centre, Hanley in collaboration with the artist and educator Neil Brownsword. The residency will look at the one of North Staffordshire’s most iconic and globally recognised ceramic designs.
Students will be working with Brownsword to explore and reimagine the design through experimental making.
The residency will result in an exhibition at the Potteries Centre on the 23rd February - 1st March.
Rich with content for ceramic collectors, researchers, authors, curators, and historic archaeologists, the sites are sure to deliver value for their visitors. The exhibition’s curators continue to enhance them and, now, with site application upgrades, including a new magnification feature and upgraded content management capabilities, the TCC and its collaborators are pleased to relaunch these exhibits, all free to a worldwide audience.
